GREAT SUCCESS FOR THE EURASCO STAND IN ROMANIA - Submitted 10 November2008


There was a great attention concerning the EURASCO promotional stand at INDAGRA FARM in Bucharest (5/9 November 2008). The stand was serviced by a person able to give the visitors basic info about the association reality and its activities. In the stand there was also the distribution of the material (leaflets, posters, CDs etc.) sent by 6 associated members from 6 countries. This event was a real successful initiative, following the first one organized in Brno last April. Thanks again to the ROMEXPO team for the great support and cooperation.

Next 2009 EURASCO Assembly in Sweden! - Submitted 1September 2008


As decided by the members in the last General Assembly in Gornja Radgona (Slovenia), the next EURASCO AG will be taken in Jonkoping (Sweden) during the well known ELMIA WOOD, the largest forestry fair in the world. The meeting will be on June 2nd 2009 (with arrivals in the afternoon of the day before). The really interesting first draft program prepared by the friends of ELMIA was just sent the members. EURASCO now totals 33 members in 25 countries! - Submitted 2 September 2008


On 27th August 2008 in Gornja Radgona (Slovenia), alongside 46th Agricultural-Food Fair, was taken the General Assembly of EURASCO. There was a great interest for this event among the members:in fact we had 20 presences from 10 countries! On this occasion the association approved the new entry of AGRA, the international agricultural exhibition organized in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) so that EURASCO now totals 33 members in 25 countries.


EURASCO will meet the Commonwealth Show Societies! - Submitted 23 September 2008


Scotland's Royal Highland Show in 2010 will be host to the Royal Agricultural Societies of the Commonwealth Biennial Conference. On Sunday/Monday 27-28 June 2010 CEO's and key delegates from the Show Societies in the Commonwealth and EURASCO members will attend the event and a special Global Conference. Save the date in your agenda!

31st International Fair Semana Verde de Galicia - 19-23 November 2008


The organization of Foundation Semana Verde de Galicia has decided to postpone, for a number of reasons beyond its control, the 31st edition of the International Fair Semana Verde de Galicia, which was scheduled for 11-15 June 2008. AGRA - 18-22 February 2009


The 18th edition of the international agricultural exhibition AGRA will be held from 18-22 February in International Fair Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The most successful agraria forum in Southeast Europe is a showcase for the new achievements and a compass for the current trends sector.The prestigious event is organized in partnership with the Agricultural Academy at the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The main branches presented at the exhibition are machines and implements for plant-growing, selected seeds and planting materials, stock farming machinery and equipment, organic plant-growing and stock breeding, agrochemicals. 821 companies from 40 countries took part in AGRA 2008. The number of visitors attending the exhibition amounted 33.897, registering a rise of 13,5% compared to 2007.
