Fieragricola : history, tradition, technology, innovation and market. AGRO 2012

“AGRO" is the main agricultural fair of Portugal. The Parque de Exposições de Braga (PEB) organizes the 45th edition of AGRO - International Trade Fair for Agriculture, Livestock and Food of Braga, from March 22nd to the 25th. The AGRO is the only agricultural fair in the country included in the elite of fairs represented in UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) and Eurasco. After a successful last edition, the organization intends to consolidate the growth of the event, reinforcing the prestige gained in the past. Livestock, farm machinery, organic farming, Horticulture and Floriculture and Wines and Flavors are some of the areas that take part in this event.”

Agricultural fair Maamess 2012

Agricultural fair Maamess 2012 takes place from 19 – 21 April , 2012. Maamess, which demonstrates different aspects of rural economy, is the most renowned rural fair in the Baltic States. The exhibition is divided into four parts: arboriculture, agriculture, animal husbandry and horticulture. Maamess is now being held for 20th time and increases its international significance annually providing the best opportunity to bring together various groups of people connected with rural economy, farmers, foresters, manufacturers and vendors of proffessional equipment. Similar to previous fairs it provides the visitors with information concerning modern agricultural, forest and timber processing machinery, plant production and animal husbandry, animal breeding, gardening and food. The number of visitors attending to the exhibition in year 2011 amounted 30 560, registering a rise of 15% compared to year 2010. International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA

The 21st International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA, held on 6 - 10 March 2012, is the most reputed agricultural forum in Southeast Europe. The exhibition showcases innovations and advanced technologies, agricultural machinery and equipment, products of renowned companies worldwide, as well as the achievements of the Bulgarian and international agricultural science. Within the framework of AGRA will be held for the first time the Trade Exhibition of Organic Farming BioAgra . The event is organized in partnership with the AVALON Foundation, the Netherlands and the Agroecological Centre at the Agricultural University, Plovdiv. The exhibition is aiming to highlight organic farming as a production system that respects the environment and animal welfare and to showcase organic products are a healthier alternative. BioAgra will be accompanied by a comprehensive business events programme including a conference on "Marketing of Organic Farming" and an "Evening of Organic Food" organized in cooperation with the Royal Netherlands Embassy and AVALON Foundation, the Netherlands. DLG-Field Days 2012

The DLG Field Days are the information forum and innovations platform for modern arable farming. In 2012 this outdoor exhibition will be held in the International DLG Crop Production Center in Bernburg-Strenzfeld, near Halle (Saale) on more than 40 hectares area including stands with trial plots, stands on grass and in tents, and machine demonstrations. Over the years, the DLG Field Days developed into the leading exhibition in the crop production branch where specialists from the areas of practical farming, research, plant breeding and plant protection meet. More than 300 exhibitors inform about their products and services, being able to reach about 22,000 potential customers.

Borgeby Fältdagar in Sweden is one of northern Europe’s largest agricultural exhibitions in the field and the natural meeting place for professional farmers. The exhibition offers a complete overview of relevant agricultural topics and provides visitors with a full range of knowledge. Our aim is to allow the farming profession to view the latest in crop production techniques and machinery, so the exhibition is always filled with new and exciting things. At the very heart of Borgeby Fältdagar is our crop demonstration area in the centre of the showground. What does the soil look like under the crops? Visit the pit and get to know your soil! EuroTier 2012

EuroTier 2012 – The World’s Top Event for Animal Production - to be held in Hanover/Germany, will once again be the platform for all enterprises that want to offer their products internationally and address all animal professionals. In 2010 1.926 very international exhibitors (778 companies from 48 countries around the world) presented their products on about 180.000 sq.m of hall space. 145.000 visitors (no less than 24.000 of these internationals) attended the show to get information on new developments and trends in future animal production. 2012 EuroTier will again include the “World Poultry Show”.
