AGRA

The 18th edition of the international agricultural exhibition AGRA will be held from 18-22 February in International Fair Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The most successful agraria forum in Southeast Europe is a showcase for the new achievements and a compass for the current trends sector.The prestigious event is organized in partnership with the Agricultural Academy at the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The main branches presented at the exhibition are machines and implements for plant-growing, selected seeds and planting materials, stock farming machinery and equipment, organic plant-growing and stock breeding, agrochemicals. 821 companies from 40 countries took part in AGRA 2008. The number of visitors attending the exhibition amounted 33.897, registering a rise of 13,5% compared to 2007.

ZOOTECHNIA

ZOOTECHNIA is the only specialized exhibition for livestock and poultry in the broader Balkan area.It is organized by HELEXPO SA in the International Exhibition Center of Thessaloniki, every two years. The attendance of local and international visitors in the 2007 edition exceeded 43.000, while over 800 Companies took part in it as exhibitors.

Foire de Libramont, La Foire Europeenne du Monde Rural

The Libramont agricultural, forestry and agri-food fair ia a huge outdoor exhibition that offers a showcase for the rural world in all its many shapes and forms (machinery, livestock breeding, forestry, the agrifood industry, horticulture, study, research, education, ciulture and more). In 2008 edition there was the presence of more than 185.000 visitors. The 2009 edition will be held from 24th until 27th of July 2007 and will be followed by 2 days of demonstrations in the forest(from 28th until 29th July).

Potato Europe 2010

In cooperation with other event organisers, the "Potato Europe" brand was launched for the first time in 2006, based on a similar event in The Netherlands. Potato Europe will move through Europe in the upcoming years (2007 in Belgium, 2008 in France, 2009 in The Netherlands) and will return to Germany in 2010. Potato Europe is the platform presenting the whole technology concerned with potatos, bringing together production on the field and processing. This meant that fields trials, machinery demonstrartions, and discussions (Potato Congress 2006) could be found in close proximity. 7,300 farming and business visitors (about 25% from abroad) showed interest in the exhibits of 181 exhibitors from 131 countries.
