EURASCO STAND AT AGRA 2010 !
Great success for the EURASCO promotional stand at AGRA, from 23 to 27 February 2010 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The stand was serviced by person able to give the visitors basic info about the association reality and its activities. In the stand there was also the distribution of materials (leaflets, posters, CDs etc.)sent by 11 members exhibitions as required by the General Secretariat. A total of 27,106 trade visitors attended the Agricultural Exhibition in Plovdiv.This important initiative followed similar events that took place in the last years in Brno, Bucarest and Plovdiv again! JOINT MEETING OF EURASCO WITH NASFC IN BRUSSELS!
Following the decision taken at the last AGM in Sweden a very important first joint meeting of EURASCO with the North American Farm Show Council (NAFSC) was organized in Brussels on November 30th 2009. The american delegation was composed by the President Curt Kleoppel, the Past President Scott Grigor and the 1st Vice President Doug Wagner. EURASCO delegation included the President Pedersen, the Vice Presidents Christiaens and Leewenburgh, the Secretary General Colombo and 5 members as partecipants. In the meeting we had the presentation of some interesting documents (ASAP distributed). After the discussion there was the common decision of the 2 delegations to present in their own next AGM a document to be voted to have closer relationships in the future. On Tuesday December 1th the participants attended the professional day of the 100th edition of Agribex.

2011 AGM WILL BE TAKEN IN LIBRAMONT!
The AGM Edinburgh confirmed the 2011 EURASCO AGM will be taken in Libramont (Belgium) in July during the well known Agriculture, Forestry and Agribusiness Fair. On the 25th we will have our General Assembly followed by the meeting with the President and the General Manager of the exhibition, the visit of the event and the official dinner. On the 26th a tour of the very famous forestry demonstration will be organized. Later we will have the possibility to visit the old Abbey of St. Hubert too! More details and the hotel reservation form will be send by the EURASCO General Secretariat next december.

EURASCO MET THE COMMONWEALTH SHOW SOCIETIES !
There was really a great success for the last EURASCO AGM taken in Edinburgh on 27th June 2010 (24 presences from 14 countries)!
In the same period Scotland's Royal Highland Show hosted the Royal Agricultural Societies of the Commonwealth Biennial Conference so on 26-27 June 2010 CEO's and key delegates from the Show Societies in the Commonwealth and EURASCO members attended the event and a special Global Conference. There were many business contacts and exchange of ideas about the agriculture in the different part of the world. Finally on 27th a very fruitful AGM and the official dinner taken at Edinburgh Castle!

2 NEW MEMBERS FROM TURKEY AND FRANCE!
Two new EURASCO membership requests from Turkey and France
were approved! HKF Trade Fairs/Fuarcilik A.S. located in Istanbul required the association admission for the very well known exhibitions ANIMALIA ISTANBUL (International Trade Fair for Livestock & Cattle Breedings Technologies) and VIV TURKEY (International Fair for Poultry Technologies). The second request arrived by Sommet de l'Elevage, located in Clermont-Ferrand, France, one of the leading international trade show specialized in farm animal productions (6/8 October 2010). Both the requests were approved in the last AGM in Scotland in June 2010.

EURASCO NOW TOTALS 33 MEMBERS IN 25 COUNTRIES
With the new approved events voted in the AGM Edinburgh(Scotland) on 27 nd June 2010, EURASCO now covers 26 countries with 33 members! It is indoubtly the greatest and most important agricultural exhibition and show organisers association in Europe!
