Fieragricola is the Biennial International Exhibition of Machinery, Services and Products for Agricolture and Animal Farming. The event is the only major event in Italy that deals with agricultural engineering, animal farming and services for companies to offer a complete panorama of the agricultural sector. Fieragricola 2008 is divided in three great sectors :Agrimeccanica, the area dedicated to the latest technological and process innovations in the engineering field; Zoosystem, the area with Structures, technologies and equipment for cattle, pig, poultry, sheep and goat breeding; Products for animal nutrition and health and Insemination centres and Veterinary instruments and equipment; Agriservice, the exhibition covering innovative services for the development of agriculture. Agriservice in turn especially focuses on Agripiazza ( the interactive multimedia area) and Bioenergy World ( the exhibition and workshop of technologies and material for energy production from organic material of agricultural origin). Fieragricola 2006 had 1,164 exhibitors (from 27 countries),67,576 sq.m. of net exhibition area, 139,901 visitors (13,984 from 76 countries). The numbers are certified by FKM.
