The 47th International Exhibition of Agriculture has closed its doors Sunday, March 7, 2010 after allowing 652,189 visitors, including 93,301 trade professionals and nearly 7,000 international attendees, all looking to meet with industry peers and admire the 1 098 exhibitors and 3,513 animals presented by 850 breeders in the General Agricultural Competition for animals. The Paris International Agricultural Show continues to be a political and media event of the first order. The exhibition attracted 1, 945 journalists in 2010, 205 international journalists, as well as official visits from 55 politicians. Visits from numerous foreign delegations from Europe, Africa, the US, South Africa, countries in the Middle East and Asia. Highlights of the 2011 show : 19 to 27 february.
