The FIERAGRICOLA INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGIES SHOW, is a biennial event specifically for agricultural-based themes, will be taking place in Verona from 6 – 9 February 2014. The show guarantees a complete range of technologies and products for the mechanical farming sector, livestock breeding, agro-supplies, renewable energy and agricultural services. The 2014 edition of FIERAGRICOLA places particular focus on the new European agricultural policy and future developments in the sector including themes linked to biodiversity and plant genetics. Talks will concentrate on global cultivation as well as territorial and local crops and will be organised into congresses and high profile events. Here are some figures in reference to the 2012 edition: 100,625 visitors, 1,179 exhibitors (from 22 different countries), 62,236 m² of exhibition area, 5 demonstration areas (four for technologies and one for renewable energy sources), 22 animal breeding associations, over 750 heads of livestock on show and 115 congresses, debates, technical and scientific meetings, all in just 4 days....

Bioenergy Expo is the exhibition of sustainable energy designed to offer new income opportunities to farmers and present information and novelties to energy sector operators concerning the generation of renewable energy. The event is scheduled alongside Fieragricola which last edition attracted 127,500 operators. Facts & figures 2008 edition: 7,610 sq.m. of net exhibition area (+215% compared to Fieragricola 2006) 6,000 sq.m of outside dynamic demo area 9 guided visits to primary companies in the bioenergy sector, 153 exhibiting companies (more than 20% international) 30 presentations and theme workshops in the forum area a programme of meetings with international buyers for exhibiting companies. The exhibition will be even more innovative and comprehensive as of 2010. The area will be doubled and trade sectors will not include only energy from renewable sources in agriculture like biomass, biogas and biofuels. Sectors covered at the next edition comprise also other forms of energy-saving for agriculture (solar thermal energy, photovoltaic energy, mini wind power generators, hydrogen), geothermal energy, cogeneration, energy saving and efficiency, waste to energy and recycling, transport and sustainable mobility....

Fieragricola is the Biennial International Exhibition of Machinery, Services and Products for Agricolture and Animal Farming. The event is the only major event in Italy that deals with agricultural engineering, animal farming and services for companies to offer a complete panorama of the agricultural sector. Fieragricola 2008 is divided in three great sectors :Agrimeccanica, the area dedicated to the latest technological and process innovations in the engineering field; Zoosystem, the area with Structures, technologies and equipment for cattle, pig, poultry, sheep and goat breeding; Products for animal nutrition and health and Insemination centres and Veterinary instruments and equipment; Agriservice, the exhibition covering innovative services for the development of agriculture. Agriservice in turn especially focuses on Agripiazza ( the interactive multimedia area) and Bioenergy World ( the exhibition and workshop of technologies and material for energy production from organic material of agricultural origin). Fieragricola 2006 had 1,164 exhibitors (from 27 countries),67,576 sq.m. of net exhibition area, 139,901 visitors (13,984 from 76 countries). The numbers are certified by FKM....

Following “Fieragricola Tour 2006” from the Alps to Sicily, September sees a group of agricultural machines and equipment set off for Slovenja, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. Thank to collaboration by ICE (The Italian Foreign Trade Institute) and UNACOMA (The National Union of Agricultural Machinery Manufactures), Veronafiere will present the latest innovations in agricultural mechanisation, animal farming and activities linked with agriculture ( sustainable sources) in Cntral Europe. The tour will cover about 4 thousands kilometres. In particular workshops and exhibitions of technologies and tractors will be held in Gornja Radgona (Slovenja),Budapest (Hungary), Krakow (Poland), Brno (Czech Republic), Nitra (Slovakia) and Wien (Austria).
