Michel Christiaens, former board member, partecipated as EURASCO delegate in the General Assembly of the Farm Show Council FSC in Columbus (Ohio). 20 AG show organizers from the US and Canada attended the AGM which was hosted by Farm Science Review and the Power Ohio Show. Michel Christiaens gave a presentation of the EURASCO activities last year and was backed up by David Zimmerman from the Southern Farm Show (North Carolina) who gave a brief overview of this presence at the AGM of EURASCO in Utrecht. During the AGM of the FSC an interesting visit to the Unmanned Aerial Systems UAS center of the states of Minnesota and Ohio was scheduled. During the meeting there was a very interesting presentation of Map Your Show MYS and WILTPR gave a presentation on the Farmer of the Future – science, systems and soul. The different show evaluations conducted by the FSC members on the shows of their colleagues were presented and discussions took place on “Large tents on outdoor venues and severe weather” and “Risk management in the farm show industry” . The next AGM of FSC will be hosted by World Ag Expo in California and will take place from 25 till 27 April 2016. More information: www.farmshowcouncil.org
