After the retirement of Giovanni Colombo, the association AGM in Rennes voted Luciano Rizzi as new Secretary General. His duty starts from 1st December 2019. On 11st September was taken the second association 2019 AGM at Rennes for SPACE 2019, the international exhibition for animal production, a really great event. We had delegates from France, Sweden, Suisse, Belgium, Serbia, Italy, Scotland, Netherland, USA and Spain. Very interesting technical visits to Le Ferme Marine oyster farm and to a sheep farm took place too. A new membership from Albania (Agro-Tech Expo & Conference, 13/14 March 2020) was definitively approved. The proposal of the development of an increasing of EURASCO/ The RASC-The Royal Agricultural Society of the Commenwealth relationship was approved. In 2020 one day meeting will be organized during the 29th Commonwealth Agricultural Conference at Norwich, Norfolk, UK taken from 5-9 July. The Date will be decided very soon. “As decided last February in Paris, the second 2019 AGM will be taken in Rennes for SPACE 2019, the international exhibition for animal production (10-13 September ). The EURASCO event will be taken on Tuesday 10/9 and Wednesday 11/9. On the first day the program concerns: Guided visit to Le Mont Saint Michel and a sheep farm (agneaux de prés salés) – Dinner at the SPACE exhibitors party, with the presentation of the Innovation awards. The first 2019 AGM was taken in Paris SIMA- Paris International Agribusiness Show for on 25th February. This exhibition was really very impressive and confirmed to be one of the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment. At the meeting we had 18 delate presences from 8 countries (Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Scotland, France, Romania, Nederland, Germany). In the meanwhile in Paris was also taken the decision to send an EURASCO delegation to the next Farm Show Council meeting Raleigh, Caroline (April 29/30)) and to be present to the 29h Biennial RASC Agricultural Conference 2020 in in Norwich (England). The Agro-Tech Expo & Conference was launched for the first time in Tirana in 2018. It was organized by Expocity Albania as an International Fair for Agribusiness and Agro-technology sectors. The next edition will be taken on March 15-16, 2019. The fair’s main purpose is to gather all the most important actors in the field of agricultural and agro-technology sectors in Albania and the Balkans region, in a unique venue. The Agro-Tech conference will provide best practices to benefit from government and EU subsidies from the Rural Development Program, by offering advanced solutions in improving agriculture’s competitiveness, sustainable management of natural resources, climate-protection activities as well as sustainable development of rural areas. During the 2018 EURASCO AGM taken on 27th June in Borgeby (Sweden) the assembly voted the new association Board starting its activity from the 1st of January 2019 to 31st December 2020. Here the unanimous results: new President was elected Anne Marie Quemener (SPACE, Rennes, France, former Vicepresident); Treasurer Ruwan Berculo (VNU, Utrecht, Nederland, confirmed); Sorin Vornic (ROMEXPO, Bucarest, Romania) and Luciano Rizzi (Fieragricola-Veronafiere, Italy) were both elected new Vicepresident.
