On 27th June was taken in Sweden the 2018 EURASCO AGM during the well-known exhibition Borgeby Fältdagar (27-28 June 2018). This event continued its success story with its 20th anniversary and attracted visitors from throughout northern Europe offering a successful combination of demonstration crops, 400 exhibitors and experts, practical demonstrations of machinery and seminars. The AGM sow the presences of 14 delegates from 8 countries and went in deep on the association international development, sector main subjects and presented a specific research on the security levels for exhibitions and events. The EURASCO event was perfectly organized by HIR Skane with 2 dinners, one with the exhibitors and buyers and the second one for the whole delegates and hosts. The last AGM was taken taken in Hannover for AGRITECHNICA 2017 (12/18 November) on 9th November. This exhibition was really very impressive and confirmed to be the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment and was under the heading “Green Future – Smart Technology”. An overview of all DLG driven events is again given under www.DLG-tradefairs.com. There we had a very fruitful meeting with RASC delegate (Royal Agricultural Society of The Commonwealth) and FSC delegate (North American Farm Show Council) too. At the AGM we had 29 presences from 16 countries (Italy, Suisse, Belgium, Danmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Scotland, Israel, Slovenia, Spain, France, Romania, Estonia, Nederland, Germany, USA). The next AGM will be taken in Hannover for AGRITECHNICA 2017 (12/18 November). This exhibition is the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment. There was a great AGM on 1st June 2017 at Bath (England) in the occasion of The Royal Bath & West Show. There we had a fruitful meeting with RASC (Royal Agricultural Society of The Commonwealth) too. The delegates were from Italy, Suisse, Belgium, Danmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zeland. During the event there was the vote to admit the new member Kenes Exhibition Ltd from Tel Aviv (Israel). Confirmed the new AGM in Hannover for AGRITECHNICA on 12th November 2017 (news will be given in a very short time). Taken the decision to have an EURASCO stand at Sommet de L’Elevage at Clermont-Ferrand too (4/6 October 2017) too. Following the activities of the General Secretary a new request of admission has arrived from Israel. The company Kenes Exhibition LTD sent the application form for 2017 and the Board taken in Bucharest gave its green light. So the last act of the approval procedure will be taken by the AGM in next June in Bath. Kenes Exhibition LTD is well known in our sector as the organizer of AGRITECH ISRAEL, the International Agricultural Exhibition & Conference, one of the most important world’s event in the field of the Agricultural Technologies. The next 20th edition will be taken at the Tel Aviv fairground at 2018 May 8-10. A second one event organized by Kenes Exhibition LTD is the 5th EDITION of AGRITEX 2017, the International Agricultural-Dairy-Food Processing Exposition that will be taken on 2017 September 07-09 at HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad, India (agritex.co.in). EURASCO (The European Federation of Agricultural Exhibitions and Show Organizers), the structure created in 1966 covering the agricultural and the food sector events of the Great Europe with 35 members from 24 countries, had its second celebration of its 50th anniversary of activities during its AGM in Bucharest on 1st November during INDAGRA 2016, International trade fair of equipment and products in agriculture, horticulture, viticulture and animal husbandry, November 2-6 2016 with INDAGRA FOOD in the same date in Romexpo Exhibition Centre. The meeting saw the presences of 17 delegates from 9 countries. Following the Secretariat contacts, there it was decided the association will take 2 different official events in 2017: 1 AGM to be taken in Bath (host Royal Bath & West of England Society) and the meeting with RASC (Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth) 2017 on 1st June 2017.
