In 2014, the 9th edition of the PotatoEurope will be held on 3 and 4 September 2014 on an estate called “Rittergut Bockerode”, near Springe in Lower Saxony, Germany. In 2010, some 190 exhibitors were participating at the same venue on a total space of 28 hectares, showing their products on trial plot stands, on grassland stands or in tents, completed by machinery demonstrations. PotatoEurope is an outdoor event for the professional potato industry attracting visitors from all over Europe. The two days’ event covers all the questions and themes related to modern potato production and processing, focusing on breeding, production and processing technology, fertilization, plant protection and trade. In addition, field trials, machinery demonstrations and information events provide additional insights.
